Cactus is a vibrant
space for creative people. We seek to inspire &
enliven the community by giving opportunities to
experience the eclectic diversity that is the arts.
In our creative space, we've enjoyed the spontaneity
of live drawing, live painting and live music.
Cactus is ever-evolving and ready for the next idea.
Cactus is the brain child of Abraham & Sandra.
Abraham, an Argentine native, has been an
artisan his entire life. He has worked for himself
exclusively and had a small storefront tucked
between the trees,
"Flower Power", Abraham's

orchids and grassy surroundings
that is his hometown of Puerto Iguazu. Sandra, a Los
Angeles native of Argentine descent, walked into
that storefront in October of 2004. They immediately
got that warm, fuzzy feeling and soon the LAUSD
teacher of 8 years was traveling between Argentina
and Los Angeles trying to find a market for
Abraham's artesanias. Thus, the Cactus came to be,
first incorporating Latin art, and then local
artists. Our vision is fluid and as time passes we
are proud to say we are working with large
communities of artists and artisans on two
continents.
